Loughborough University has invented innovative noise barrier technology to provide a cost-effective, less intrusive noise reduction for busy transport links. Full-scale prototypes are currently on trial in road, rail and industrial applications.

Sonobex has been established to raise the investment to commercialise the technology.  Demonstrator prototypes are installed in the UK with further trials are planned for Europe
